Starship Prepares for Fourth Flight Test
Launch Scheduled for June 6th from Boca Chica, Texas
SpaceX's Starship, the most powerful launch vehicle ever built, is set to lift off on its fourth flight test on June 6th, 2024.
The launch will take place from SpaceX's Starbase test site in Boca Chica, Texas. This will be the first time Starship has attempted a full test flight, including a landing at sea.
Starship is a fully reusable launch system designed to transport humans and cargo to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. It is the largest and most powerful rocket ever built, standing at 120 meters tall and weighing over 5,000 metric tons.
The fourth flight test will be a major milestone for SpaceX. If successful, it will demonstrate Starship's ability to launch, reach orbit, and land safely back on Earth. This will pave the way for future crewed missions to the Moon and Mars.
